CLOSING 12/23. I never imagined having to write this, much less so soon after opening Canvas. First, I want to say how faithful the Lord has been throughout this year. He’s provided such an amazing community that has made Canvas what it is. Every single person that has walked through our doors has said how thankful they are for the space and how they can’t wait to come back. I’ve seen a vision, that the Lord gave me 6 years ago, come to fruition and I am forever thankful for His promises. Those of you that have rented know my mom quit her job last year and agreed to come work for me. She is the hardest worker and the most selfless person I know. If you’ve rented from us, you know she greets you at the door with the biggest smile and helps with anything you need. She has been the glue for Canvas. I know the hundreds of people that are affected by this decision, including my mom, and I’ve had to live with the immense sadness and loss. We’ve tried negotiating with our landlords to keep Canvas open for the community, but they’ve decided to not renew our lease so that they can use the space. We are thankful for the blessings that Canvas has brought and are praying that we can reopen in another space in the future. If you would like to rent before we close our doors on Dec 23rd, our remaining openings are on our website. I am forever thankful for every every person that has made a lifelong memory in our space 💕
