Before I headed up to Wisconsin in July, I made a day trip down to Howard Finster's Paradise Garden in Georgia. It was such a mind blowing place. I went down and shot a few rolls of film. I still have a few more to develop, but I've been so busy I hadn't gotten to post anything from down there yet. Here's a sneak peek from that day. There's just so much there to try to take it all in.

From my baseball series - From Beyer Stadium, the home of the Rockford Peaches. I took this photo of a mural inside one of the dugouts. This was such a fun place to visit to see where the Rockford Peaches once played. The movie A League of their Own is based on them and the AAGPBL.

This print is available on my Etsy shop and actually just sold, if you're interested in it or any of my other work, check out my shop at www.etsy.com/shop/trdphotographyart.

On our way to Wisconsin we decided to grab lunch in Paducah, KY. After we ate, I wanted to check out the downtown area to see what it looked like and take a few photos of their historic theatre. Right next to the theatre is the St Francis de Sales Catholic Church and it was beautiful! I hate to take a few photos of it as well. The statues were stunning. I photographed it on Kodak Tri X Film.

Truth - Justice - The American Way...

From the home of Superman, in downtown Metropolis, Illinois. I just processed a roll of film where I photographed the famous Superman statue on Kodak Tri X film, and low key, it's definitely my favorite photo I've taken of him. The black and white just has a different feel in my opinion. What say you?

Today I've been working on some of the photos that I've taken around Chattanooga over the years. This is one that I took of the Chattanooga Choo Choo. Originally it was in color, but I like it in b&w much better. Be sure to check out my Etsy shop and check out the scenes from the south category to see more of my Chattanooga prints. By far the most amazing church that I've ever been inside is Church of Our Saviour in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2023, I was out wandering around one afternoon in Christianshavn, one of the neighborhoods in Copenhagen. I only had my film camera with me when I saw people going in and out of the church. I decided to go in and I was stunned. It was amazing. The architecture and sculptures were breathtaking. I was having to shoot slow shutter speeds because of the film I was using, but these are some of my favorite photos from the trip.

If you're interested in this or more of my work, check out my Etsy shop, www.etsy.com/shop/trdphotographyart I'm currently working on adding more from my trip to Copenhagen, but there are over 500 prints available right now. Check out the different categories.

So several months ago when I was doing a show up in Nashville, another vendor had this antique teddy bear. I really wanted it, but was hesitant because it was a bit high. I finally pulled the trigger and this is the first still life set that I've done with him, although I've got a lot planned to do. I decided to do a little Cowboy Themed Teddy Bear action and I'm happy with how this came out.

If you're interested in any prints of my work check out my Etsy shop. I'm planning a Vintage Still Life Toys series that I'm really excited about, so favorite the shop to keep an eye on my prints that I'm adding regularly. www.etsy.com/shop/trdphotographyart

I absolutely love collecting classic books. One of the first classics that I read as a kid was The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It's one of the greatest Sherlock Holmes stories of all time. I was so stoked to get this classic and create a still life around it. I photographed it on Kodak Tri X Film.

Feel free to check out my Etsy shop to see some of my other still life prints. I love doing dark academia type work. www.etsy.com/shop/trdphotographyart

This is one of my favorite dark academia still life photographs that I've done so far. I first read The Raven in elementary school and Poe's writings have been an inspiration to me ever since. I took this shot in my still life studio on Kodak Tri X film.

If you like this kind of work, please check out my Etsy shop at www.etsy.com/shop/trdphotographyart and check out my dark academia still life category to find more prints like this. Definitely feel free to share it around.
