Senior session tip: When planning your outfits, think about variety! Choose colors that complement your skin tone, hair, and eyes, and don’t be afraid of a bold color. Solid colors photograph beautifully and keep the focus on you, while subtle patterns can add personality without overwhelming the photo.

Try to choose 2–3 outfits that feel different from each other—different colors, styles, or vibes—so your gallery has lots of variety while still feeling cohesive. ✨

Throwing it back to this gorgeous senior session from June! There’s just something about those early summer evenings, blooming gardens, and that soft golden light. 🌸☀️

And if you’re planning your senior session, here’s my biggest booking tip: decide what you want first, then choose the month that fits your vision best!

🌹 June: Rose gardens in bloom + beautiful weather without the summer heat
☀️ July–August: Warm summer days, summer tans, flowers, and beach photos
🌊 August–September: Cooler temps, summer tans, beach days, gardens, and those last bits of gorgeous summer golden light
🍂 Fall: Colorful foliage, cooler/cozy vibes, and it can still be warm enough for beach photos!

There really isn’t one “best” month for senior photos — it all depends on the look you’re dreaming of. 🤍
