It is always so much fun to see adorable Cullen each year. It's surprising how much a year in kindergarten can mature kids, though. He remains his playful, affectionate, and silly self, but in the last year, he has developed a new sense of maturity, along with a few new adult teeth in his sweet smile.

I met one of the sweetest little girls today for her newborn session. The charming Murphy loved being cuddled, but she wasn't too keen on having her hands repositioned while posing. Fortunately, she settled down quite easily and allowed me to capture her cuteness in various setups.

Two-year-old sessions are always unpredictable. We never know if it will be smooth sailing or a complete disaster. Adorable Hazel's session was a bit of both. She was determined not to have fun during the first half of her session; however, she eventually embraced the silliness and chaos I provided, and we finished on a high note! In-between all that we got some super-sweet pictures of her and her sisters!

You never know what to expect with a 1-year session. Sometimes kids are clingy to their parents, other times they want to explore the studio, and occasionally they are sensitive to the sweetness of the cake or the brightness of the lights. Regardless, we always manage to capture some adorable images.

Every now and then, I get lucky with an easygoing baby who sits where you place them, smiles effortlessly, and enjoys both their cake and bath time. Charlotte was one of those babies. The youngest of three girls, she was absolutely the most delightful baby, and we had one of the best 1-year sessions ever!

Adorable Tessa had big shoes to fill, as both her older sister and brother were complete angels during their newborn sessions. It's a... girl! Sweet Tessa made her entrance into the world yesterday, and I was thrilled to be there to capture the moment. I can't decide what was more fun for me: seeing mom's face when she discovered that the baby she had carried for nine months was a girl or planning her upcoming newborn session!

By far though, I just loved witnessing older siblings McKena and Dean, whom I photographed on their birth days, meet their new baby sister.

Whether it's your first child or your third, maternity sessions can be a truly special time for a mom and her baby. When you have older children, these sessions also provide a glimpse into their journey of becoming older siblings.

I have had the pleasure of capturing this sweet family's moments on the day of birth for each of their children, and I will do so again with the arrival of baby #3. As a photographer herself, mom Kelsi understands the significance of this time and the importance of preserving those memories. I am incredibly excited for the arrival of baby #3 and can't wait to find out if it will be a little boy or a little girl!

I have had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family since they were expecting their first child many years ago, and I absolutely adore them! Their children have been among the most stunning newborns I've ever captured, with all three having full heads of beautiful dark hair. Sweet Maci was an angel during her session giving the cutest little smiles, and her delightful big brother and sister made it so easy to capture their family images.
