Gracie Tierney Photography

Gracie Tierney Photography For starters, take the notion that photographers are just for weddings and portraits and throw it out the window. I love taking pictures. Thanks for stopping by!

I'd like to think of myself as an "always available" photographer and I believe that there is never a job too small (or too crazy). So, if you're selling your house and need professional pictures, starting a hair salon and want to build a portfolio of your work, or have a big birthday party coming up, give me a call. I love the feeling of a camera in my hand. I love the "click" sound the camera ma

kes. I love looking through the view-finder and knowing that THAT photograph is going to be "the one." I love coming home dog-tired from a day of shooting and looking through the days work. To me, there is no greater feeling of accomplishment than knowing a client is going to be satisfied and excited by the pictures you give them. So please, let me show you how devoted I am to my clients and how much I love my work!

2025 Recap: Despite taking the "year off," I spent my fall with some of my favorite familes. All of these folks have hired me several times to photograph their tribes, which means the world to me. And, I feel like a fly on the wall getting to watch their families grow.

Hi all!

Remember my long post last year about how I was taking the year off to fall in love with photography all over again? Well... thankfully, that didn't go quite according to plan. I did fall even more in love with this hobby of mine (After 13 years, that was bound to happen), but I didn't exactly take the whole year off.

Here are some of the highlights!

1. Photographed the CORAL Gala at the Crowne Plaza, featuring some of Springfield's kindest, warmest, most-amazing change-makers! And the coolest floral, rainbow backdrop by .
2. Celebrated 20 years of Springfield Supportive Living!
3. Photographed the cutest (and tallest) dadgum kids I've ever seen.
4. Celebrated an engagement with Garrett & Allison - And get to photograph their 2026 wedding!
5. Got to end the year with one of my besties and her crew - and the coolest vintage, homemade teddy bear sweater, complete with googley eyes. (As worn by Dane. I am told this is a custom piece).

There are many more highlights to share and many folks I got to photograph in 2025, which I will be sharing as we count down to the New Year. And speaking of the New Year, I am back, babyyyyy. Look for an updated blog, a website overhaul, and many more rambling posts in 2026!

That being said, my 2026 books are OPEN! Let's get your picture taken!

HI ALL!

It's been awhile! I will be booking a few fall dates for photos, but first I wanted to share some info about an upcoming fundraiser.

In September, I am attending a conference in Colorado, hosted by the Presbyterian Older Adult Ministries Network. They were kind enough to provide a scholarship for half of my trip expenses. I work for a non-profit, and unexpected expenses like this are not included in my annual budget, so I am fundraising to cover the rest! I feel strongly that attending this POAMN Conference will bring so much knowledge and will help me better our local senior community!

To make up the difference, I am hosting a day of mini sessions!

These will be:
- At Carpenter Park on August 31st
- A suggested donation of $150
- After I meet my goal, any remaining donations will go to IL Presbyterian Home Communities

Book HERE and get your family photos done in a way that is quick, painless, and benefits our great community! https://shorturl.at/oGKNv

Thank you in advance!
