We picked up some new maternity dresses for our client closet while we were at the Maternity and Newborn Summit in Texas back in July. We were so excited to get Sara in them today to get some images of them as well as to do her maternity session. She was such a great subject and was so accommodating. But more than that, can we talk about how beautiful she is? I loved watching how she kept rubbing her baby during the session. It was so sweet and tender. I loved getting to share with her how beautiful she is and getting to share some of those last few special moments she has of just her and her sweet baby together before they have to share each other with the world.

The folks at Common Thread - Robertson County reached out to tell me about Dolly Day in Robertson County. Appropriately it is 9/25 (Nine to Five). Unfortunately, that is parent weekend for UK and I am out of town so we came up with a little alternate plan because: I love Dolly, Reading and Kids Books so this was a win- win for us.

On Saturday, October 3 from 3-7 pm we will have set up a white minimalist set AND a pink set with disco balls. For your donation of $50, we will photograph whatever you want on one of those sets and gift you with 3 images from your session. Sessions will be 10 minutes (and we have to be strict on that time limit). ALL THE PROCEEDS from these will be donated to the Robertson County Imagination Library. Should you want to donate more, we will also pass that along, but it is not required.

You will be required to book a slot AND prepay. Should you not be able to come, there will be no reschedules and no refunds as this is going to be a donation.

Come as your best version of Dolly -- or not. Come as YOU and know that we are "Doing what Dolly Does". Expect Dolly to be playing the whole day in studio. We can't wait to see you. (Family, senior, headshot, children (no newborns or non-sitters) unless mom and dad are holding them), maternity, you with your best country music outfit -- just DREAM BIG like Dolly did!!)

UPDATES:

We have no weekends left this year. We are fully booked with regular sessions, mini sessions, weddings and Santa. We are willing to work later in the day to work around your schedules, but there just are no weekends left.

What we DO have on weekends is
September 12, Greenhouse sessions.
Nov. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 - some Santa sessions
December 5 -- we will be releasing some kind of family Christmas option for this date.

IF you need a session for the rest of the year NOWWWWW is the time to book it as we are starting to scrounge for dates.

IF you are thinking of planning a 2026 wedding and are interested in a wedding photographer, now is also the time to schedule your complimentary consultation and save your date. We limit weddings to a certain number per year and we are a little over half way to that number as of now.

IF you are pregnant and are expecting a baby within the next six months and are considering newborn photography, please reach out for your complimentary consultation. By doing this, it allows us time to plan your session, order anything special you might want and to allow you time for a payment plan should you desire.

Seniors ... did you know we offer a mini session? If you only want a small number of images or have a kiddo who isn't all in on senior photos, let's schedule a consultation to talk about those. They are quick (painless) and you get just enough images to print invitations, print some wall art and share on socials. They are weekday only but such a great option.

And last -- we will be doing our VIP Black Friday specials again this year. It allows you to pay each month for a number of sessions throughout the year at a discounted rate. We also limit the number of those we sell each year so you'll want to be ready to snag one if you regularly have sessions with us. We LOVE these because it allows you to budget and also to get first dibs on sessions when we release them!!

We’ve had a cancellation for a Spider-Man mini sessions and wanted to reopen for booking as they were sold out. They are THE cutest for little guys!!! Sessions are $99/3 images or $225/10. Sessions are in Springfield. Two spots opened on Sept 8 and 10. Sept 8 is at 6:00 and September 10 is at 6:45 and are 30 minutes. Sample images below. You provide the costume and tiny human and we provide the magic. 🕷️🕸️💥
