Just outside Marble Falls sits a place that feels completely unexpected.
Museo Benini is filled with bold color, unusual forms, and decades of work from artist Benini. Some pieces feel precise and geometric, while others seem to move across the canvas. The longer I spent inside, the more the museum felt less like a collection and more like a journey through one artist’s life, imagination, and constant evolution.
I had the opportunity to sit down with Lorraine Benini, who shared the story behind the museum, the artwork, and the decision to create a place where people could experience it all freely.
This short film is only an introduction. There is much more to the story, and I plan to return with a deeper film about Benini, Lorraine, and the remarkable world they created together.
Until then, I hope this gives you a glimpse of why Museo Benini left such a lasting impression on me.
