It's been a while since you've heard from me.

At some point, I'm looking forward to sharing my story - where I've been, why I had to step back, and the beautiful things that brought me and my camera back together.

For now, here's a small snippet...
One of my best friends got engaged this Summer and I got to be there. I got to pick my camera back up - the first love of my life - and I got to share an immeasurably special moment between two people that love eachother dearly and it started to wake my "why" up again.

I sometimes struggle to articulate just how special photography in general is to me but to say that it is an honor to get to be a part of people's moments that they want to remember forever - to be trusted with capturing it well and in a way that allows them to relive it over and over - is the understatement of a lifetime.

This is what makes my world turn. This is what gives my life meaning.
This is where I'm supposed to be: behind my camera, capturing your memories.

Livvy and Joey, I love you two more than you could possibly imagine and I am beyond honored to have been trusted with capturing your proposal and I absolutely cannot wait to witness the two of you and the life you are working so hard to build together.

This past weekend I got to witness a very special wedding - a friend of mine from high school married the love of her life and I got to photograph their wedding day!! 🥰

These moments make my heart so full. Every time I get to work with someone I know personally, I feel humbled and grateful that they've trusted me with their memories and their unforgettable moments.

I am overflowing with love today and I just had to pop in to share one of my favorite photos (so far!) from her beautiful wedding day!

What a week it has been!! 😅

Last Wednesday I had to step away to take care of a family emergency, then shot a quick day of mini sessions on Saturday before driving down to Nashville on Sunday for a wedding Monday evening and then making my way back home yesterday. Seven days of non-stop BUSY but things are settling down, I am back home today, and will be working on a wedding and some family collections for the rest of the week!

I genuinely can't thank you all enough for your kindness, patience, and grace as I work through all of the unexpected delays and road bumps - being a sole business owner and employee is awesome and exciting but when unexpected things come up that require my full attention, sometimes it trickles down and affects my business overall and I am so unbelievably grateful for everyone's kindness during this time.

Hello from Nashville!! 👋

I'm down here for a wedding tomorrow and about to work on getting caught up on some editing and emails.

MAJOR thanks for all of your patience and grace this last week as I had to step away for a few days for a family emergency.

If you're waiting to hear back from me, it may be a day or two until I can get around to it with everything that's been going on but I am working through all of the correspondences and should be caught up soon!!

You guys are the best! Can't wait to share some recent work with you but for now, check out this amazing set my cousin put together for her client appreciation Christmas party last night! It was a blast and I can't wait to deliver this final round of holiday family photos of the year!!! 💕

Just dropping in to let you all know that we are currently working through a family emergency and I appreciate your patience with me during this time. In order to focus on the things that require my attention at the moment, I will not be responding to emails and messages urgently so please expect delays.
