Long after the gear is cleaned, the report is filed, and the trucks are back in the bay, first responders can still carry the weight of what they saw, heard, and felt.
June is PTSD Awareness Month, and it’s a reminder that strength is not silence. Checking in, speaking up, using peer support, and making room for honest conversations can matter more than we know.
