My name is Ashley Behrle and I am the owner of A Family Affair Photography. I am a wife, a mother, crafter, chocoholic, craft beer lover and photographer. I have an affinity for capturing important moments…even the mundane ones, because well, moments are just a fleeting snipit in time that will be forever lost. I started taking photos of friends and family as a "hobby". I am proud to say that afte

r 6 years of this business, I have grown as a photographer and person. I have met some pretty cool people along the way and have built friendships that will be life lasting. I owe everything, and I mean everything to God's grace. He has opened doors for me that I never thought were possible for my life. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and look at my work. After several months, she’s finally done πŸ‘πŸ» There’s been a lot of life that has happened and this site, which was started in the beginning of the year, was put on the back burner. My designer was so incredibly patient with me! It was a tough decision to rebrand and to change a name that has been with me for 12+ years, A Family Affair Photography has been a major part of my identity and what makes me, me. But over time, as a lot of you know, my identity has changed and evolved. I literally and figuratively wear many hats and I needed a cohesive spot for everything! My brand slogan is 𝑨 π‘ͺπ’“π’†π’‚π’•π’Šπ’—π’† 𝒐𝒏 𝒂 π‘΄π’Šπ’”π’”π’Šπ’π’- I was created to create and created to produce something good for others, and that’s my hope with this- that you’ll find inspiration and your own bit of hope.

Story time: Joe and I went to high school together and lost touch soon after. I was photographing a wedding years later and saw Dani and Joe on the dance floor. They needed a photographer for their wedding, Dani and I hit it off and they booked me soon after! I ended up doing their engagement, wedding, maternity, first newborn and now their second baby girl! In the process and over the years, we've become so close and they've become some of our dearest friends! They're stuck with me πŸ˜‚ I am so thankful that this business continues to bless me in the most special of ways all these years later!!

I have a client closet available for you mamas, every prop under the sun, and a cozy(and clean) environment to capture these first moments together. You can choose between a lifestyle package or a combo of lifestyle and prop/posed package. I can't wait to photograph your family in this space!

And isn't my best friend and her family the most precious things?! A lot of you know my struggles to have our babies and this friend of mine has been through it all as well. Together, we have gotten through so many storms these last 6 years...infertility, miscarriages, heartache after heartache....for both of us to end up HERE with our babies earth side. What a blessing to have these babies, what a gift to have her friendship. I couldn't be happier for them and it was an *honor* photographing this new family of FOUR!
