Can time please slow down?!?!

My beautiful daughter is growing up WAY too fast. She’s reached the middle school milestone where she is joining clubs, doing great with her grades/homework after school, playing the clarinet in band, has started confirmation and continues to crush it on the softball field. She’s is smart, funny and my favorite person to snuggle with while watching Star Wars.

Time is a thief, but it’s so cool seeing the woman she is becoming.

I cannot put into words how special it is to reconnect with friends from high school and meet the family they built. Valerie and I go so far back it blows my mind that we are even old enough to have kids, let alone have kids THIS ADORABLE.

One of the BEST parts of being back home, is being able to witness my god-daughter's special moments. Saturday, she had her first ever high school homecoming dance. Addie and her besties got all dolled up, danced the night away and finished with an ice creamed filled sleepover.
