Ahhh… motherhood. 🤍

The most beautiful and the hardest thing I have ever done.

Looking at motherhood as a season has completely changed my perspective.

Every season brings joy and challenges, laughter and tears. The hard days won’t last forever… but neither will the little hands reaching for yours, the baby on your hip, or the tiny voice asking you to slow down and watch.

It’s beautiful and heartbreaking all at once.

While this is a season for your children, it’s a season for you, too.

The session will take place in early to mid-July at sunset and requires a short walk to reach the location.

Have I told you how much I love my job? 🤍

I never take these moments for granted. As a mom, I know just how quickly these seasons pass. The tiny hands, the belly laughs, the missing teeth, the silly grins—it’s all so fleeting and so beautiful.

It is truly an honor to preserve these memories for families. Years from now, these images will be reminders of who their children were in this season of life, and that’s something I don’t take lightly.

This sweet family spent some time with me in the studio, and I am absolutely in love with what we created together. ✨

A few years ago, I probably wouldn’t have delivered this image.

The kids aren’t looking at the camera.
Nobody is perfectly posed.
It’s a little chaotic.

But now? It’s one of my favorites.

Because this is what motherhood often looks like—little hands everywhere, big personalities, endless movement, and moments that pass far too quickly.

The beautiful thing isn’t the perfection.

It’s being right in the middle of it all and knowing one day you’ll miss the chaos. I cannot wait to share more from this session!

I don’t like doing these “about me posts” but I figured it was time since I just updated my headshots… after 5 years. Clearly I prefer to be behind the camera 😂

So here it is: I’m a believer, wife, mom of three, pediatric speech-language pathologist, and photographer serving Saint Louis.

In my free time I love baking. I’m currently obsessed with sourdough pizza crust 🍕. I also love gardening. I’m currently counting down until I can dig up my potatoes.

Photography fell into my life after the pandemic. My son was born and I really wanted an in home newborn session but it didn’t happen. I took some online courses and I was hooked. To this day, I’m still trying to learn and grow so I can best capture this season for you and your family.
