’s recent article “Just Checking in on the G&T” reminded me to post this summer slammer I had created up in Minnesota recently.

Since we had leftover berries from our mixed berry cobbler, I made a buttered cinnamon mixed berry syrup that played perfectly with ’s Spruce Gin and angostura bitters. It lasted a mere 45 seconds before I had to make myself another.

I’ve been back from for a couple days now, but I can’t get over how good the coffee at was. It felt like a cocktail program. My favorite concoction had to be the “Hail Fellow Well Met,”—a brown butter salted caramel latte.

But the star of the show was the pour over of Ethiopia Kokosa Birhanu Teklu. It was soft with notes of Peach, Jasmine, and White Grape.

I highly recommend visiting their HQ in Rogers, AR.
