Children have a remarkable way of resting peacefully in the presence of those they love. Their wonder is genuine, their trust is complete, and their joy is contagious.

May we all learn to approach Our Blessed Mother with the same trust, wonder, and joy of a child. 🌸

For many years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings, ordinations, and other special moments within the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis . Every time I step inside, I find myself pausing to admire the beauty, craftsmanship, and faith reflected in its incredible mosaics.

This past May, I was given a unique opportunity to photograph specific mosaics throughout the Cathedral for a special project—the Cathedral Basilica's Novena to the Sacred Heart. It was an honor to spend time studying and capturing these sacred works of art, and I am deeply grateful that my photographs are being used as part of this prayerful journey.

Beginning June 3, participants in the Novena will receive a daily reflection inspired by one of the Cathedral's mosaics, inviting them to encounter the Sacred Heart through the beauty and faith that surround us in this remarkable place.

This wedding. I’m still flabbergasted at the path God has allowed me to follow. I get to weave in and out of peoples lives being gifted moments of their growth and beauty. I met Cecilia when she was a senior in high school for photos. So much promise and strength. I got to know her family along the way. Her brother’s senior photos and also family photos. So when I got to witness her walk down the aisle towards her vocation…. I was just so grateful to be able to see it. It’s the only wedding I’ve ever cried at. Something I said even made it into the homily. “This day was years in the making.” I can’t wait to see what the next few years bring. ❤️
