Beneath a canopy of trees, with softly falling spring rain, Maddie + Andy privately exchanged vows. Not before a crowd nor in a grand location—just two souls, a quiet path, and the certainty of one another. 💕
The rain, while not anticipated, was so sweet and poetic. For love, like the best novels, is rarely predictable, but always deeply felt.
It was such an honor to witness their tenderness and love! Congratulations Maddie and Andy!

One of the things I wanted to invest my time in this year was volunteering more to causes that are close to my heart.
One thing I am pretty passionate about is supporting diversity equity and inclusion hiring practices. It was impossible to keep track of all the companies that were and were not keeping thier DEI policies! I finally decided to make a website that listed companies who supported DEI. The list is nowhere where I wanted it to be before releasing it… and it’s an ever changing landscape but this is a start! I’ll be updating it as the year goes on. I hope this helps someone else who also wants use their purchasing power at companies who share their values! Happy shopping!

Being an entrepreneur and creative business owner is no easy endeavor. It sharply oscillates between the best most fulfilling challenge ever undertaken, where you’re proud and satisfied with what you’ve accomplished and created, to tear puddle, where you question why you don’t just work for someone else and make an easy paycheck, not sure if you are going in the correct direction with your life.

Alicia is a total inspiration 🙌 who I deeply admire inside and out! She navigates the mental strain of entrepreneurship with grace, and a tenacity to grow and improve her business. She’s my beacon for success and I am immensely proud of her and what she’s created for herself! If one of us succeeds, we all can:). Happy to be closing this chapter on 2024 and embracing the newness of what’s ahead in 2025;).

Things I’m grateful for in 2024:
1. The health of my family and friends
2. Receiving a new car as a gifted inheritance less than 2 weeks after my car was stolen and totaled
3. Spending a month in France in February with my dear friends there.
4. Growing closer in my friendships and reconnecting with some long overdue connections
5. Meditation
6. Good health insurance that allowed me to take care of myself this year
7. Unexpected job opportunities that lead to immense blessings in my professional life
8. A deeper exploration of service and giving back and what I have to offer
9. Well timed distractions of the sweetest variety
10. Grace

I'm enjoying posting more images that bring me enjoy. I still care way too much about my grid, and probably always will, but I feel my style evolving and it's been fun to share some of that:). I'm not even sure what to say about Deb and Tom except they are amazing! I'm so greatful we got to laugh and get saucy in the stairwell! ​​​​​​​​​.​​​​​​​​​I love Deb and Tom and can not wait to attend their next themed party. Because y'all know the main reason I am a photographer is to make more friends!
