This wedding took us to Indianapolis Library...what a beautiful venue. The sweetest couple who went for it! They were so fun to work with and can see the love between the two was palpable.

Putting together my wedding posts from the last year has been such a reminder of how blessed I am to stay busy and capture so many meaningful memories. We truly love both the big celebrations and the intimate weddings—there is something special about love and everyone coming together, no matter the size.

Just a reminder: all weddings look different. Different times of day, venues, budgets, and the amount of time hired can all shape the experience. Trusting your photographer’s advice—especially when it comes to timelines and photo locations—can make a big difference. The less time we have, the more rushed things can feel. My goal is always to help you use me in the best way possible.

Typically, 8–10 hours is a very common timeframe, but 6 hours can absolutely work too. It really depends on what you’re hoping for, but the amount of time truly does impact the final experience and gallery.

We’ve also been lucky to work all throughout the United States—I love to travel! I’m grateful to have an amazing team as well. My husband, who has worked alongside me for 10 years, is my right-hand person, and I also work with some incredibly talented professionals when needed.

Don’t Just Google the Drive Time — Plan for Real Life

When creating your wedding timeline, avoid the mistake of only estimating the drive time between locations. A 10-minute drive on Google Maps can easily take 30 minutes in reality when you’re moving a large group.

Getting everyone out of the hotel, onto the party bus, or into cars takes time. Then add walking to the photo spot — especially with bridesmaids in heels and dresses — and it's never as quick as you think. Also, party buses often can't follow the same routes or park as easily as cars, so keep that in mind when choosing locations.

Build in buffer time. It’s not just about arriving; it’s about arriving stress-free:)
