The Normandy High School Icon Awards Show was nothing short of incredible — standing room only and full of energy from start to finish.
What stood out the most wasn’t just the turnout... it was the students.
They showed up.
They showed talent.
They showed confidence.
They showed growth.
From performances to presence, our young people took ownership of the moment and delivered in a way that made the entire community proud.
This is what happens when opportunity meets preparation.
Grateful to everyone who helped make this night possible — and even more excited about what’s ahead for these students. The future is real, and it’s already in motion.

They’re not just participating—they’re learning how to command a room, connect with an audience, and represent themselves with purpose.

When students at Normandy High School see their work turn into real-world results, everything changes.
This week, our Mentors In Motion Apparel Design scholars fulfilled actual customer orders during the school day, designing, printing, packaging, and preparing products for delivery. What started as a classroom lesson quickly became a live business operation.
The impact has been immediate. Attendance is up.
Engagement is stronger. Students are arriving early, asking questions, holding each other accountable, and taking pride in meeting real deadlines for real clients.
