Even the photographers need to step to the other side of the camera sometimes. Because capturing the moment is great, but being in the moment is pretty special too.
We spend so much of our lives behind the lens — fixing hair, adjusting light, watching for the perfect expression. We’re usually the ones saying, “Okay, everyone squeeze in!” But every now and then, we hand off the camera and step into the frame ourselves.

This spunky 3-year-old came to her session ready to show off her personality, and we loved every minute of it! ✨ From her favorite toys and treasures to her big smiles and even bigger attitude, this session was all about celebrating what makes her unique. Whether she was striking a pose, showing off a favorite item, or giving us one of her signature sassy expressions, she kept us laughing and created memories her family will treasure for years to come. There is nothing sweeter than welcoming a new baby into the family! Our little newborn was perfectly sleepy and content throughout the session, allowing us to capture all those peaceful expressions that change so quickly in the first few weeks of life. Family business = all hands on deck! Three different strengths but one shared goal.
Our roles have changes over the years but that is what “passing the torch” means! Some days you’ll find Karen doing paperwork and making sure every detail is just right. Lou jumps in fixing, building, and keeping everything running smoothly. And then there’s Rachel greeting clients with a smile, organizing, creating, and stepping into a role that once belonged to mom and dad.

These photos mean more than just “working.” They represent teamwork and all the employees behind the scenes who have built something together. The late nights, early mornings, laughter, collaboration, and sometimes struggles - it’s worth every moment. When you support a family business, you’re supporting generations working side by side — pouring their hearts into every single day.
