spring at lake crescent feels unreal in the best way 🌿

it was one of those days where the sun actually showed up in the pnw (!!) the water was glowing, and everything just felt calm and easy. no big production—just the two of them hanging out, laughing, and soaking it in.

these are the kinds of sessions i love most. nothing forced, nothing overthought. just you two being yourselves somewhere that feels a little magical.

i’m based in st. louis but i’ll always say yes to the mountains (especially the pnw) 🤍 if you’re dreaming up something like this, i’m in.

❄️One year ago today on a snowy and magical day in the heart of downtown Chicago, I posted the photos that changed the entire trajectory of my career. We first ran around the Art Institute of Chicago and took photos with all of the iconic artwork and decided that just MAYBE we may take a few outside if it wasn’t too terribly cold at the end. When walking downstairs past the huge windows we saw the most magical snowfall begin and we raced like madmen back outside so catch it. It was like the loud sounds of the city quieted to nothing while we all danced and played and truly just took in the beauty of the snow. So many of these moments captured were just that. Tori and Xander truly marveling in the beauty around them!

These photos went on to be seen by MANY people and landed me many dream gigs that I never through were possible at the beginning of my career. This day is a special one to me as a photographer and always will be - so here are a few of my absolute favorites that still make me grin from ear to ear to this day! 🌨️🏙️✨🪩
