When did we become so divided? When did we weaponize our right to vote, and when did we start aiming those weapons at each other? While we’re busy pointing fingers and hating one another, the enemy is having the time of his life. I mean stop and take a look…a really hard look at these people that yall are fighting over. One is claiming to be a man of faith but caters to a group who spreads fear and hate. The other man is claiming to be a man of faith while co-signing to ideals and beliefs that directly contradicts God’s word…while catering to a group who spreads fear and hate disguised as love and acceptance 🤦🏾♂️
Now, if that sounds like a silly, sad, lose/lose situation…it is! To put these men and women on a pedestal and hate those that disagree is reckless and dangerous. To sit and listen to God’s word every Sunday only to lose your soul over hatred is tragic. Yet it’s what the enemy is counting on. We got several groups of people accusing one another of tearing the country apart while in all earning participation trophies for tearing the country apart.
The trust in man is strong and it shows. We’re so busy making sure we slinging red and blue signs, flags, and bumper stickers at each other that we don’t realize that our trust in God is lacking and the fruits of our labor is starting to show. If we don’t stop all this nonsense and start praying for one another, our leaders, and our country we are going to find ourselves in a country formally known as the United States of America or worse… You’ll find yourself staring down the barrel of 7 years of tribulation.
Let’s do better folks. All we need to do is share the truth, live the truth, and pray!
