Sometimes the best photos come from waiting just a little longer.

I was supposed to have a senior session tonight and we have already been through one reschedule because of the extreme 100+° heat and humidity. When session day rolled around again, it was still incredibly windy. I gave them the choice to continue or reschedule, and they decided to trust the process.

Not long after, thick clouds rolled in and covered the sun. While this picture is beautiful from my phone, its only 1 spot out of many and the rest were dark and not going to give us the warm, glowing golden-hour light we had envisioned for this session.

I know rescheduling can be frustrating, especially when everyone is excited and ready to go. But my priority will always be delivering the best images possible—not just good images. I want every senior to look back at their gallery and absolutely love what they see.

Weather is one thing we can't control, but knowing when it's worth waiting is part of my job. Sometimes that extra patience makes all the difference.

And yes... it's still windy!

When a family trusts you with their memories for YEARS... it becomes so much more than photography.

There are sessions that leave you smiling... and then there are sessions that leave you feeling incredibly grateful.

This sweet family has been part of my journey for years, and I honestly can't put into words how much they mean to me.
It all started with family photos. Then came his sister's senior pictures, followed by Landon's senior session. After that, I had the privilege of photographing his sister's engagement, wedding, maternity, and newborn photos.

And now... here I am photographing Landon and his beautiful girlfriend, Maddie…..

This is exactly why I love what I do.
Watching families grow, celebrating their milestones, and having them continue to trust me with their memories year after year is something I will never, ever take for granted.

Maddie came into this session with a vision, and these two absolutely NAILED IT. The outfits, every laugh (there were LOTS of laughs), every kiss... it all came together so naturally. They made my job easy because their love and connection are so genuine…. And lets give Landon a lot of credit….. he did AMAZING!

I know I overshare sometimes... but when you've watched a family's story unfold through your camera for years, it's so extra special!

To Landon & Maddie... thank you. Thank you for trusting me, supporting my business, and allowing me to be a small part of your story. It truly means more than you'll ever know.

✨ Sneak Peek | Wedding Day: Cole & Lucy | 6.13.26 ✨

Some wedding days are beautiful, and some are simply unforgettable. Cole & Lucy's day was both. ❤️

They were blessed with absolutely perfect June weather as they celebrated surrounded by family, friends, and the place they call home. There is something extra special about saying "I do" on your own property......a place filled with memories, love, and the beginning of a new chapter together.

Of course, the horses had to be part of the day! While they weren't quite sure what to think about Lucy's white dress (change can be hard), their curiosity eventually got the best of them, allowing for some great photos!

One of my favorite moments is a picture of Grandpa with his horse. It made the day even more meaningful because this same horse was part of Cole & Lucy's engagement session, making it a special thread woven through their story from engagement to wedding day.

Love isn't just found in the big moments......it's in the people, places, and traditions that become part of your story.

Congratulations, Cole & Lucy! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and adventures together. ❤️

Baby Rowan's review of his newborn session: "I'd rather be eating." 💙

Despite that, he still gave us some absolutely adorable moments and the sweetest images to capture this special time.

The highlight of the session was watching big sister with her new baby brother. She is completely smitten with him, and her love shines through in every cuddle, kiss, and gentle touch.

Welcome to the world, Rowan. You are already surrounded by so much love, and I can't wait to watch you grow.

My heart is so full for these two as they welcome their first baby into the world! 💙

I've loved watching Mikayla grow from a teenager into the incredible woman and mom she is today. It feels like just yesterday she was in high school, and now she's holding her sweet baby boy in her arms. Life truly comes full circle.

Baby Daniel was an absolute sweetheart during his session. The love in this home is already so evident, and watching these two soak in every precious newborn moment was such an honor.

Sneak Peek: Ben & Kathryn

Remember that sunset I posted last week? Well… I am absolutely in love with how these turned out. I love the blue & yellow in the sky, and these two made every single moment even more beautiful.

Some seasons deserve to be slowed down just a little more 🤍

This one feels especially tender… because it’s not just about welcoming a new baby….it’s about holding onto these last moments as a family of three.

I’ve had the honor of photographing so many milestones for this family over the years…..senior sessions for all the siblings (5 in total), family photos, maternity, and even sweet Freya’s newborn session. Watching their story continue to unfold like this is something I’ll never take for granted.

But what makes this session extra special is Freya …..right in the middle of it all. Still mom and dad’s whole world, still their little girl, soaking up these last moments before she steps into her new role as big sister. The way she looks at her mama, the way she reaches for her hand… and the way she sneaks in those little kisses on daddy’s cheek….

Because life is about to change in the most beautiful way — from three to four, from little girl to big sister, from one kind of love to an even bigger one.

And that’s why these maternity sessions mean so much… they freeze this in-between stage. The quiet before everything shifts. The sweetness you don’t realize you’ll miss until it’s gone.

Some sessions just hit a little differently… and this one has my whole heart 🩵

Watching this beautiful girl step into each chapter of her life has been such an honor. From family sessions, to her senior photos, to capturing her brother’s senior photos, then her engagement, her wedding… and now this — motherhood.

She has always been so effortlessly stunning, but there is something extra special about her in this season. The glow, the joy, the quiet anticipation… it’s just the sweetest thing to witness. She is going to be the most incredible momma, you can already feel it.

And Chandlar… the way he looks at her, you can just see the love, he is going to be such an amazing dad. This little boy is already so loved beyond words!

This is exactly why I love what I do. It’s not just pictures… it’s trust. It’s being invited into life’s most meaningful moments and preserving them forever. Because these seasons fly by, and someday these images will take them right back to this feeling, this moment, this love.

I truly cannot wait to meet this sweet baby boy 🩵

Spring Babies Sessions

Just a little peek at some of my absolute favorite moments from this year’s Spring Babies Sessions....and oh my goodness, the CUTENESS never disappoints. From tiny hands holding the softest baby ducks, to giggles over fluffy chicks and sweet little goslings…

And I have to share one of our favorite things we heard all day—from the littles themselves: “It would be so cute if they could chick a round.” 🐥 Honestly… I couldn’t agree more.

This is hands down one of my favorite sessions I offer every year. There’s just something so special about capturing these genuine, joy-filled moments with your little ones surrounded by the cuddly “fuzzy babies" and this year these babies were extra cuddly!

A huge thank you to Sarah for once again supplying these adorable little babies and helping guide the kiddos so everything stays safe and oh-so-sweet. I couldn’t do this without you!

Already counting down the days until next year’s sessions 💛
