Last week I shot a bridal shoot using a dress from Stilly Lilly Bridal at one of my favorite locations where I often walk my dog. This dam structure inspires me with its architectural concrete "fins". Perfect for contrasting a bridal dress. Thank you to Daria for modeling, and Sam for the photo-assist. More shots coming soon.

As senior portrait season comes to a close (this last Friday was Stanwood High School's revised deadline for photos), I'm posting another recent senior photo session with Jayden Viera. A few weeks ago I was honored to photograph high school senior Natalie de Jong at Iverson Beach on Camano Island, WA. The shoot went really well with blue skies at golden hour and a clear sunset later on. We were able to incorporate a recently built driftwood structure into the shoot, and at the end I had Natalie wade into the water to end with some off camera flash work. This was one of my favorite senior photo shoots to be sure. Thank you Natalie, and big thanks to Amy de Jong for choosing me for the second time to photograph her kids.

Day 1: The first session at the Photo Creators Conference after the welcome and kick off was an inspiring and dramatic evening class with Jason Vinson. The set up here are two models backlit via a StellaPro light with a Profoto strobe. Smoke via the Smoke Ninja. This was a heck of a way to start the conference!
