This was someone I’d met less than a minute before.

I walked by, looked at her and pointed and said, “Girl… you’re so fkn pretty, can I take your portrait?”

She laughed, smiled, and said, “Oh my God yessss 🤏🏼🤏🏼🤏🏼”

A few minutes later, this is what we created.

This is honestly one of my favorite parts of photography. Meeting complete strangers, making a genuine connection, and showing someone a version of themselves they may have never seen before.

When I turn the camera around and hear, “Oh my God, your camera is so good,” I always laugh.

It’s not just the camera. That’s you.

Every stranger I photograph teaches me something. It makes me a better portrait photographer, a better communicator, and helps me create an even better experience for every client who steps in front of my camera.

All of this started with one simple compliment:

“Girl… you’re so fkn pretty, can I take your portrait?”
