It’s been a while since I’ve posted.
Honestly, I got burned out. Add in many life changes and a difficult battle with cancer and I truly thought I was putting the camera down for good.
I’m glad I didn’t, but I have decided to make changes. From now on, I am shooting for the joy of it. Capturing things that make me happy and creating art.
I will be focusing primarily on selling prints.

Long time, no see!
I took a bit of a break from photography following my cancer diagnosis last year but I wanted to share a small amount of I have seen this past week.

Hurricane Helene has demolished and devastated western NC, Upstate SC, Eastern TN and surrounding areas.
These are some photos from my sister’s house and neighborhood in Swannanoa, NC. She lost everything, as did her neighbors and majority of her community. Many lost their lives, children are without parents, parents without children. The area will be without water for potentially months and without power for at minimum weeks.
People are rebuilding from the ground up. Lost businesses, lost homes, lost memories. They are starting over.

If you feel inclined to donate, my husband and I will be loading one of our trailers with supplies as the funds roll in to distribute to those who lost everything and those who are still trapped and cut off.
