Evo is home, but his road to recovery is just beginning.
After being gone from our lives for four years, he was found, identified by his microchip, placed on transport back to Oklahoma, and then survived a fatal accident in Nebraska.
Two people lost their lives in that crash — Lynn and Robert Phelps of Hastings, Oklahoma. Please keep their family in your prayers.
Evo survived, was missing again for more than 24 hours, and was later found sleeping in tall grass after deputies searched by drone.
He is now home with us, but he is wounded, malnourished, limping, and starting a long recovery.
We started this GoFundMe to help with his vet care, recovery, transport expenses, and rehabilitation.
