I've been looking through the images of Tiffany and Wes's wedding at this summer and found this whimsicle image of a family enjoying some downtime around a livingroom set by .

I love it's simplicity. If I tried to (re)create this image, it would have taken many, many attempts and quite a lot of time--but we didn't need that for this image, I was simply present during the wedding reception and looking for moments to photograph and this was one of them. And that's why I love it.

Millie, the Bride​, worried more about the food that her guests were going to eat than most of the other details​ of her wedding--she made most (all?) of the food she served both for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding feast and it was so good! My favorite was the pie dessert bar (see the photo to drool a bit!)! Give me pie over cake at any wedding. The rest of the details worked out and it was such a fun wedding.

​Their wedding was full of joy and laughter and a bit of shenanigans and I loved being a part of it and photographing it for them.

We all need a bit more Holly in our life and I have to share some of these horizontal images of her business branding session this week (check yesterday's post for the vertical images). Holly is a fitness and nutrition specialist based in Hayden, Colorado but works virtually with clients all across the US and she needed some updated photos of her in action for her website.

These images are fire! My gosh, I love them. It was such a great session and time with her.

Holly *slayed* her business branding session with me. We met at the track at 615am to get these track photos of her and then went to a friend's house to show off the nutrition side of her business.

I'm so impressed with her and love that we captured so many different sides of her!

Summer break and work life balance as a photographer is roooough. But we're gonna make it!

I took a trip this summer to Oslo to see friends and enjoy all of the ferie rides and brown cheese and waffles and all of it.

When you end a session with the kids leading you by the hand to show you all of their favorite toys you know it was a good session.

This cowboy session was the best. We spent the first part with their horses in a green field underneath blue skies and then we ran around the back to take photos near cottonwood and a river and a cool old wagon.

I love these photos in color and black and white! Very different vibes, but both so neat.
