A little behind the lens AND in front of it for a change. 📸🤎

I spend so much time capturing memories for everyone else, so I decided it was time to create a few of my own with my girls. 🥹🤍 These are the moments I never want to forget, and I’m so thankful to have these sweet memories frozen in time.

A little side note: We’ve chosen not to share our baby girl’s face on social media. While I absolutely love sharing pieces of our lives, some things are just too precious not to keep a little private. 🤍

And a HUGE thank you to my mama for manning the camera and helping bring my vision to life! She did the clicking, and I handled the rest! 😉📸

🧡 OCTOBER COLOR HUNT CHALLENGE — ORANGE! 🧡

September’s Color Hunt was so much fun, we’re going to keep it going! And honestly… could there be a more perfect color for October than ORANGE?! 🍂🎃🔥

This challenge is all about slowing down, looking a little closer, and finding beauty in the ordinary things around us. You do NOT have to be a photographer or have a fancy camera to participate—your phone is perfectly fine!

Throughout October, keep your eyes open for ORANGE in your everyday life and snap photos whenever something catches your attention. Try to get a little creative! At the end of the month, choose your favorite 5, post them, and tag CheyRose Photography with the hashtag so I can see them!

I’ll share my own October Color Hunt photos that morning, and everyone who participates and tags my page in their own post will be entered into the drawing for a FREE PHOTO SESSION! 🧡

The winner will be drawn LIVE that evening.

Pumpkins, sunsets, changing leaves, bonfires, coffee mugs, rusty old trucks… whatever catches your eye. There are no wrong answers here. The whole point is to see everyday beauty from your perspective.

💛 SEPTEMBER YELLOWS 💛

I’m wrapping up September’s Color Hunt Challenge a day early this month, as I’ll be attending a funeral tomorrow.

September’s color was YELLOW, and I’ve loved keeping my eye out for little pops of it everywhere I went. 🌻✨ There’s something about intentionally looking for one color that makes you slow down and notice details you probably would’ve walked right past otherwise—and that’s exactly what I love about this challenge.

Texas may not have given us the fall weather we ordered 😂🥵🍂, but they still brought all the cozy, sweet, authentic moments.

💛 OKAY, LET’S PLAY! 📸

I’m starting something new with CheyRose Photography, and I want YOU to join me!

Every month, I’m going on a COLOR HUNT—looking for little pieces of everyday life that fit that month’s color. Not perfectly posed. Not necessarily “Instagram worthy.” Just ordinary things that catch your eye and make you stop for a second. ✨

And September’s color is… YELLOW! 💛🌻🍋☀️

See a yellow flower on your walk? Snap it.
A beat-up yellow truck on the side of the road? YES.
Your kid eating a banana like a tiny feral animal? 😂 IT COUNTS.
A gorgeous golden sunset? Gimme. 📸
