Block Photography LLC Turning your most cherished moments into fine art. She LOVED when she went to grab her camera to take a photo and no film was left..opps.

I started my photography journey back as a child “borrowing” my mothers old cannon film camera taking the most random photos. But she always developed all my photos and gave them to me. Fast forward to 8 years ago when I first took the leap into starting my own business. I had my first born in 2010, I was very short on money and really wanted newborn photos. It never happened due to lack of money.

That’s when I choose to start my own photography business with the mentality that everyone deserves to have their cherished moments captured and preserved. Thus, Cherished Moments Photography was born! Since then, I have married and choose to change to Block photography! I specialize in lifestyle children, family, seniors and couples. Occasionally I will shoot small weddings and portraits. It’s those candid “real” shots that make the most imperfect photo perfect. I love challenging myself every single day! Every year my skills improve, my photos are sharper, my equipment upgrades and my love for photography grows!

To say I'm grateful would be an understatement.

When I officially started Block Photography back in 2018, I never imagined this little dream would grow into what it is today. From my very first clients to now photographing hundreds of families, newborns, seniors, weddings, and so many incredible milestones... every single one of you has played a part in this journey.

💍✨ OUT OF OFFICE NOTICE ✨💍

I have some very exciting (and very personal) news to share!
My husband and I were actually legally married in a courthouse in 2020 during COVID after our original wedding plans were completely changed when the world shut down. At the time, we never got to have the celebration we had dreamed of.

Fast forward six years, three kids later, and we are finally having our wedding celebration this Saturday surrounded by the people we love most. 💛✨

Because of that, I will be out of the office until next week as I take time to prep for and fully enjoy our wedding weekend.

📌 During this time:

💌 I will not be responding to emails, texts, calls, or messages
📸 Editing is also paused for the week
📅 All galleries, inquiries, and booking messages will be answered next week when I return

What looks like a scene straight from a fantasy novel started with a wild vision, countless flowers, a canoe, a beautiful couple, and a little bit of imagination.

Inspired by the enchanting world of A Court of Thorns and Roses, we transformed a quiet stretch of water into something that felt pulled from another realm. Floating among the blooms, surrounded by soft light and romance, these two looked like they belonged in a fae kingdom.

This reel is a peek behind the scenes of the magic—the flowers that had to be placed one by one, the laughter between poses, the balancing act in the canoe, and all the little moments that brought this dream to life.

The JV SPASH Panthers had an AMAZING season, finishing with an impressive 18-5 record! 🥎🔥

I was lucky enough to sneak away with my camera for one of their games and capture some fun action shots of these talented girls doing what they do best. Watching the hustle, teamwork, and energy on the field was so much fun!

One of my favorite things about photography is being able to give back to our community through volunteer work like this. Supporting local athletes and preserving these memories is something I truly enjoy. ❤️

Great season, ladies — you should all be so proud of yourselves!

Jessi and Cory came in for their maternity session and I had a vision… and I was not leaving until we brought it to life.
