I’ve been focusing on slowing down lately and enjoying my time with my family after wedding season ended.

I've also focused on slowing down when I am shooting and being more intentional with what I capture.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There’s something to be said about not rushing the moment to capture every little idea in my head before the sun goes down. I mean, the thought does occur every time to get as many shots as possible in the “good light”.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I get a little faster heartbeat when I’m excited and we all know the perfect light is so fleeting. But I know there is also so much to be said about slowing down-It’s quality over quantity. It’s about letting the people in front of our cameras connect, relax and feel the moment without us jumping from pose to pose so quickly that they are torn from it. At least for me, the experience is always going to be just as important as the photos and the results everyone wants will still come from that. I PROMISE!

I’m not sure if my clients realize as most of them have nothing to compare with because they have never been photographed before, but I always enjoy working on how I’m shooting for myself, too!

The amount of details Sam + Pat incorporated into their day was astonishing. The thought and detail into every minute of their day was captured so beautifully and their venue has a lot to do with it. The Refinery was designed entirely around photography and I could not recommend a better venue for your pending nuptials. Not to mention the on-site coordinator was PHENOMENAL and the best I’ve ever worked with 🤍🤍🤍

Impossible to pick my favorites from this shoot! Looking back at the images, it is hard to tell we had an upset toddler for the majority of this shoot. I like to remind my clients that the time we spend together and the time I spend assuring you that everything is fine and the kids are doing great, this is what I mean by that. These photos turned out beautiful and now mom+dad have these portraits to cherish forever!

Hi everyone! I know it’s late but wanted to share a few updates and reminders!

Communication through email is the best option to get to me quickly. Texts, DMs & Messenger inquiries frequently get lost in transmission and often forgotten. I cannot guarantee a timely response (if any) through text but will respond to your message via email when I do. All emails are checked multiple times daily and processed through my client management system. This keeps my business on track by providing a paper trail of communication and gives each client the attention they deserve with a timely response.

My office hours are Monday-Friday 9a-3pm. Weekends over the next 2 months are dedicated to my wedding clients and clients who have scheduled sessions. If you need to reach me urgently, a phone call is the quickest option. My wedding couples and clients with scheduled sessions are welcome to contact me any method they choose on the day of their event/session.

Gallery processing is slower than usual. This is the busiest time of year for photographers with wedding season and family sessions. Please bare with me and know I will provide an update if anything changes on the timeline of your gallery.

Lastly, album orders from Spring Weddings have been placed. I ordered early this year to be on track for November delivery. These are handmade and take a great deal of time to construct. When I get updates from the lab, I will let you know when to expect your album. If you are ordering an album for Christmas, my deadline to order is October 15th to ensure a timely delivery. If you are interested, contact me ASAP so we can get your initial album design completed this week!

Excited to finish 2022 strong! Only 8 more weddings to go 🥹🤍
