This fly has been dodging death in my house for THREE DAYS and now he's literally standing on the word "HELP" grooming himself like he owns the place.

Sir. I will find you. I will end you. But first — watching you calmly wash your legs while my flyswatter is inches away? Bold move for someone whose entire species lives, what, three weeks? 🪰

I'm 0-47 in swats. He's living his best life on top of my laptop. Didn't even have time to grab the real camera — this was strictly iPhone breaking-news coverage. At this point I think HE'S the one who needs help. 😂

Today I spotted this hairy, felt-like cocoon under the leaf of an Angelonia plant in my garden! It belongs to a white tussock moth caterpillar. The hairs on this cocoon are barbed, so it's best not to touch it with your bare hands!

I needed to get outside with my camera today, but it’s been raining. 🌧️

Days like this are perfect for photographing raindrops on evergreens. I find the tiny reflections inside the water drops fascinating—little worlds captured in each one. 💧🌿
