Sunny Summer Snacking.....

Taking a closer look at the smaller details is one of the true pleasures of observing nature. I came across this impressive Great Golden Digger Wasp hard at work pollinating the blooms right here in Central Illinois. What a life on the prairie, where even a quick glance at a patch of wildflowers reveals such incredible, colorful life right under our noses.
