I will forever remember 2025 as the year that I didn’t deserve, but God gave me anyway.

I didn’t deserve to spend a week in London in February with and the incredible team at

I didn’t deserve the opportunity to work alongside so many dear friends, joining at his incredible new studio in the midst of a papal conclave, photographing biblically serious headshots for , finally teaming up with and at a wedding this summer, or capturing numerous family photo sessions with so many holy families, including the likes of .at.home and of

I didn’t deserve to partner with our archdiocese and so many phenomenal Catholic schools this year to help tell their stories.

And I certainly will never deserve and being my creative playground professionally, where I’m constantly inspired by ever-present truth, goodness, and beauty to reach for new heights—this year designing both a production studio and school spirit store from the ground up while expanding our MarComm team with the exceptional talents of

And don’t get me started on my family. and our children bring warmth and joy to my life I have never known before.

Make no mistake: there is so much I don’t deserve. But the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. Though I don’t deserve the gifts God has bestowed on me this year, I can choose to honor them, to cherish them in the year ahead. Pure gift must be met with pure gratitude. That’s the only way I can think of to even attempt to thank God for His infinite goodness and generosity: to move into 2026 boldly, without fear or reservation. With trust. With courage. With hope.

So I think I’ll do that.
