Weddings sometimes need flex. Sometimes we make it up as we go along. Mother Nature is ultimately in charge, not us. But in the constant flex that comes with a wedding day, you find beauty in intimate connection, the rainy skies, the peak of sun at dinner, the fog rolling over the landscape. You never know what she'll serve up.

Where are my NYC peeps at?

• Will Smith's favorite part of the trail so far was the section between Roan Highlands (on the border of NC and Tennessee) and Grayson Highlands (on the border of Virginia and NC), completely surprising her since it has basically been in her backyard!

• She's been writing in her journals daily, a small box set, and once she finishes one she sends it home and makes sure another makes its way to her so she can continue documenting her journey.

• What does she think about to keep her moving forward when the trail gets hard? Getting home to her cat and dog.

• Back in the early days on the trail, Leftovers got her trail name from some day hikers who caught her taking a break with her breakfast and lunch leftovers from stopping in town one day. Something you learn on trail, food doesn't go to waste!

• Something she has learned about herself (and people in general) on the trail: You can push yourself a lot harder than you think, and you are far stronger than you imagine.

• I knew Karma was coming before I saw her as I heard the big trucks beeping when I neared the overhead highway crossing in Lee, MA. She was able to get a couple trucks to beep as she passed over, what an incredible mood booster for a hiker.

• Karma is what we call a flip-flopper. After being injured earlier on the trail, she needed to take four weeks at home to recover before coming back. She had to learn to adjust her plans and be okay on the fly if she was going to keep going. The original plan was to go fully northbound, but she'll be finishing off in Katahdin before heading back south to do 700+ miles in the southern section that she had to miss earlier, hence, flip flopping to complete the full trail in one season.

• What does Karma miss most from home? Her espresso machine, but don't worry, she's got mediocre instant coffee to get her going on the trail in the morning!
