www.yellowhouseimages.com What was once a fun favor for a few friends has now become a small business.

Andrew was a photojournalist living in Brooklyn when he fell in love with Kathy, a schoolteacher from Long Island. As the couple’s relationship grew, they began to document their journey, using Andrew’s experience and Kathy’s empathy to capture life’s special moments through photos and videos – parties, holidays, vacations – and to tell, in essence, the story of their lives together. When Andrew a

nd Kathy got married and started a family, the focus shifted to their children and the couple used their creativity to tell a new story – first steps, new experiences, birthdays. And as their own family grew, Andrew and Kathy began to share their expertise with other couples, to tell their stories, each one of them unique, of new love, magical engagements, and unforgettable weddings. In this role, Andrew and Kathy strive to develop special relationships with every couple they work with, stressing accessibility and intimacy throughout the entire wedding process. They approach each couple’s story as if it were their own - with a careful blend of technical experience and diligent empathy. Andrew and Kathy told their story – now let them tell your own.

Happy Labor Day from Yellow House Images! Here’s to soaking up every last bit of summer. 🌅

We hope your day includes good people, beautiful views, and a little time to enjoy it all.

Years from now, you’ll want to remember exactly what it felt like to realize you just married your best friend. 💛

The excitement, the cheering, and the can’t-believe-we-actually-did-it joy happens so quickly, but your wedding film gives you a way to come back to it again and again.

That’s why we do what we do at Yellow House Images, because some moments are just too good to experience only once.

Your wedding photos should prove just how good the party was! 🔥

We want you to look back at your pictures and feel the energy of the night, not just see what happened. That’s a big part of why we take a documentary-style approach, giving you and your guests the space to celebrate while we capture it all as it unfolds.

Because your wedding gallery shouldn’t end when the formalities do. The packed dance floor, questionable moves, huge laughs, and everyone you love letting loose are part of the story, too.

You enjoy the party. We’ll make sure you have the photos to prove how good it was! Now booking from Manhattan to Montauk.

After hundreds of weddings, we’ve learned that the moments that matter most are rarely the ones you can plan.

And that's why having a videographer documenting the day is so important.
Because someday, the people, voices, laughter, and little moments you barely noticed may become the most valuable part of your wedding film.

And that’s why we do what we do at Yellow House Images. Now booking from Manhattan to Montauk.

Town hall, your favorite people, and the person you get to do life with. Sometimes, that’s really all you need. 💛

We love weddings that feel completely true to the couple, whether that means a packed ballroom, a celebration by the water, or gathering everyone together at town hall.

The setting may change, but what we’re there to capture never does: the people, the emotion, the celebration, and all the moments that make the day yours.

Sounds like a pretty good plan to us.

Summer, we love you, but our fall couples have been waiting patiently! 🍂💛

Autumn wedding season in New York means cooler days, changing leaves, beautiful light, and an entirely new backdrop for another round of incredible celebrations.

From Long Island to New York City and everywhere our couples take us, we’re ready to see what this season has in store.

To all of our fall couples, your time has officially arrived. Let’s make it a good one. 💛

We wish more couples knew that the voices of the people they love may eventually become one of the most valuable parts of their wedding film. 💛

Especially when Dad uses his speech to tell everyone about the first time he drove your future husband to the airport, walked him all the way inside, and accidentally convinced you that he must REALLY like this guy...

Only to admit years later that he actually just had to use the bathroom. 😂

The speeches, stories, laughter, and voices of the people who know you best are such a meaningful part of your wedding day, and video preserves them in a way nothing else can.

You may book a wedding videographer because you want to remember how the day looked and felt, but years from now, being able to press play and hear the people you love tell these stories in their own voices may be the part you treasure most.

Maybe the most romantic part of a wedding is how simple the reason behind it really is. 💛

You found your person, you chose each other, and now you get to stand in front of everyone you love and promise to keep choosing each other for the rest of your lives.

The beautiful venue, the flowers, the outfits, and all the details make the day incredible, but at the center of it all are two people starting the next chapter of their story together.

That’s the part we feel lucky to document, because long after the wedding day is over, your love is the story that keeps going.

This is what happens when everyone you love shows up ready to celebrate! 🔥

Callie and Tyler’s reception was full of the kind of energy you can’t plan or pose, from a packed dance floor to the bride ending up in the air and everyone getting completely caught up in the night.

These are some of our favorite moments to capture because nobody is thinking about the camera anymore. Everyone is just there, having fun, celebrating the two of you, and making the memories you’ll still be talking about years later!

Getting married in Montauk? There’s something to be said for working with a photo and video team that already knows the area. 💛

We’ve documented a lot of weddings out east over the years, and when couples want to head to places like the Montauk Point Lighthouse or Camp Hero for portraits, knowing the area makes a difference.

We know where to go, where to park, when the light is at its best, and how to plan around the crowds that come with one of the most popular destinations on Long Island. We also know the ins and outs of photographing at the lighthouse, from arranging private access when it’s available to knowing how to make it work when it isn’t.

And if the Montauk Point Lighthouse is part of your wedding photos, you’re getting a pretty incredible piece of Long Island history in the background! Its construction was authorized by Congress under President George Washington in 1792, making it the first lighthouse built in New York State.

More than 200 years later, we’d say it still makes a pretty great backdrop.

Knowing the area means we can spend less of your wedding day figuring out logistics and more of it making the most of our time with you, while getting you back to your celebration as quickly as possible.
