For anyone who would like to help John and Olga Snyder rebuild from the fire in Coudersport last Saturday…also, the write up for the fundraiser is extremely well done and worth a read, it conveys the warmth and kindness of Olga and John, their innate ability to attract and nurture talent of all kinds, and the warm space they created for wonderful art, music, food, and community.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park earlier today. Foliage has not been colorful here due to a hot, dry October - but finally today we are near peak. It was worth the wait!

This was taken in the town of New Riegel, in NW Ohio during the winter solstice this week. I was in town for a Freshman basketball game at the high school and was lucky enough to catch the sky behind the All Saints Catholic Church across the street. New Riegel is a very beautiful small town.

The Marshall Point lighthouse and the Milky Way last Saturday night. The Maine skies are so dark that the stars are bright enough to reflect in the tidal pool in the lower right corner. Marshall Point is the lighthouse that appeared in the movie 'Forrest Gump', and was the spot at which he turned around to continue his long run.
