Please, please, please, more than anything else in the world, I beg you this:

Take the pictures. Hire the photographer and take the pictures. Keep them all. Keep the silly ones, the serious ones, the out of focus ones. Keep them and tuck them away. Print them and write down memories of the day. Make a Facebook post and share a joke or a story with your loved ones.

Someday, this will be all that remains of someone you loved. Make those photographs beautiful. Make them authentic. Make sure they stand the test of time.
