I’m the face behind Taylor Goddard Photography—a motherhood and family photographer based on Florida’s Treasure Coast, documenting the seasons that pass far too quickly.

I’m married to a firefighter, mama to my two greatest adventures, Hayden and Cohen, and somewhere between snack requests, nap schedules, editing galleries, and chasing sunsets… I’m living the life I once dreamed about.

Photography has never been just about beautiful photos for me.

It’s about preserving the little things.
The way your toddler reaches for your hand.
The quiet anticipation before welcoming a new baby.

The tiny hospital bassinet. The wrinkled little fingers. The hospital bracelets. The way they curl their legs up like they’re still tucked safely inside of you. The overwhelming feeling of looking at this brand-new little person and realizing… you’re finally here.

Fresh 48 sessions take place within the first 24–48 hours after your baby is born, right in your hospital room. There are no elaborate outfits, props, or perfectly posed moments. Just your baby exactly as they are. Your family meeting its newest member. The sleepy snuggles, tiny details, and all of those beautiful in-between moments that disappear much faster than you realize.

And the best part? You don’t have to worry about looking perfect or having everything together. These sessions are meant to document your story exactly as it is raw, tender, emotional, and completely yours.

Pregnancy isn’t always easy. It asks so much of a woman’s body, her mind, and her heart. Yet somehow, women continue to carry life with a quiet kind of strength that deserves to be celebrated.

That is why I love maternity photography.

Sometimes I look at old photos and wonder what that little girl would think if she could see me now.

A wife. A mama. A photographer.

Building a business around the very thing that matters most to me—family.

Some days it’s beautiful. Some days it’s messy. Most days it’s a balance of chasing dreams while chasing two little ones around the house. But I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

This business has grown alongside me through so many seasons of life. It has allowed me to witness the beauty of motherhood, preserve stories for incredible families, and create a life I once could have only imagined.

To the little girl at the end of this reel—thank you for dreaming.

Things I do for every newborn session that you might not “see” if I didn’t point them out…

As a newborn photographer, there is so much happening behind the scenes before I ever press the shutter.

Here are a few things I do for every newborn session:

1. Warm the room before baby arrives so they’re comfortable and sleepy.
2. Sanitize all wraps, blankets, and props between sessions.
3. Adjust my lighting based on the time of day and the baby’s skin tone.
4. Build and smooth my beanbag setup to create a safe, supportive surface for baby.
5. Watch for little details like fingers, toes, clothing wrinkles, and loose hairs.
6. Follow baby’s cues the entire session—feeding, soothing, and cuddle breaks are always welcome.
7. Keep safety as my top priority and never force a pose baby isn’t naturally comfortable in.
8. Take my time. Some of the sweetest images happen in the quiet moments between poses.
9. Guide parents every step of the way so they never have to wonder what to do with their hands or where to stand.
10. Photograph your baby with the future in mind—these images aren’t just for today, they’re for years from now.

Because newborn sessions are about so much more than pretty photos. They’re about creating a calm, safe space to preserve the tiniest details before they change.
