I can’t wait to share the beautiful experience we had at Amanda and Alex’s wedding! I delivered a few sneak peeks shortly after their wedding day, but their blog post is now live as well with links to all their amazing vendors! From the moment I arrived at Jolene Family Winery near Richmond, Virginia, you could feel the magic in the air. This place is stunning—the sunlight filtering through the trees, making everything feel like a hazy fairy tale. Honestly, it was the perfect backdrop for a celebration full of love.
There were so many little details that just made the day shine brighter. Amanda’s dress was breathtaking, with delicate fabric and beading with that kind of elegance that makes you stop and take a breath. And the flowers! Every detail felt like it had a story to tell. Everything was so meticulously planned, from the custom newspapers to the reception decor. You could see how much thought they put into it all.
After the “I do’s,” we walked through the property for some portraits, and let me tell you, the light was just magical! You know those golden hour moments that make everything look like it’s glowing? That was every bit of it. Amanda and Alex were so natural in front of the camera, their joy pouring out, and I feel so lucky to capture that.
And let’s not forget about the reception! The party was a blast from the first dance to the very last game. Friends and family gathered together, and you could see the genuine happiness on everyone’s faces.
