As we come to an end of this Memorial Day, may we continue to remember those that gave it all. Our lives and freedom only come with a price, and to those that are no longer with us, we thank you. Your bravery and honor has not gone unnoticed. May you rest in peace.

I've enjoyed following Mai Richards on her many journeys with the flag, and her Memorial Day runs have always been some of the most inspiring moments to witness. But this year may top them all. 🇺🇸

This year, she has taken on the incredible challenge of running across the entire state of South Dakota with the American flag carried on her back the whole way. The dedication, grit, and meaning behind every mile has been nothing short of powerful.

Tomorrow, she finishes that journey in Sturgis, and it has truly been an honor to capture the final stretch home. Watching someone push themselves physically and mentally for something they believe in is the kind of story that reminds you what strength and patriotism really look like. ❤️🤍💙
