I've been meaning to try and grab this photo for over a year now. Spotted these falls sticking out of the forest on a hike one day and thought it would make an interesting photo. Unfortunately I didn't have a telephoto lens at the time to frame the shot correctly. I was however hoping for some more fall colors above the falls but didn't get this. I might go back in a few months and see what the winter season does for the photo.

A bit of a late post for the day. Was supposed to be capturing shots of the waves hitting the rocks with the sunset off in the background. Had to grab a shot of my beautiful wife of almost two weeks enjoying the view while I was supposed to be switching out lenses. Managed to capture some of the larger waves at the same time! Here's to spending the rest of our lives together out adventuring ❤

One of Oregon's largest and lesser known waterfalls in all of its glory. This hike is fairly unique in that it is not very long, and you can get right up under the falls. Due to this, and only having a 24mm lens for wide angles I had to take a panorama in order to get the entire falls in this photo. Let me know what you think of this presentation method for panoramas, or if the white boxing is too distracting!

Went backpacking for the first time recently through southern Oregon. The conditions weren't great for photography, but the views here were stunning nonetheless. We paused here for a break reminiscent on the travels of Frodo in the lord of the rings movies. The journey was long, but well worth it.
