I’m still trying to raise money to rebuild after a devastating house fire that caused the death of my beloved dog Nelly. I was renting so insurance is not an option. I lost allot of stuff, some things can never be replaced and were of sentimental value. I’m still completely in shock that this happened. I have no place to live now. Community services are slow and not set up for this type of immediate displacement. My family for some reason is absent during this time of great loss and grief. So I’m essentially going through this by myself. Any help is appreciated. 1D

Some people look to cops as heros, but who do the cops look up to?! Well firefighters of course!!! Last night, we made EPD Officer Ryan's dreams come true and let him assist with putting out an outdoor fire that got out of control.

The Fire Departments of Enfield and Enfield Police Department share a great working relationship. 🚓 🚒

We'll also take this opportunity to remind residents that not only can outdoor burns be illegal but also very dangerous and can quickly get out of control. Be safe Enfield!

People often to ask, why does the fire department respond to medical emergencies? All 5 fire departments in town are staffed with EMT certified personnel. Fire Department units commonly respond to a medical emergency prior to EMS to assist with stabilizing that patient until EMS arrives. It’s a vital service fire departments across the country have been providing since the early 70s. There are in fact a plethora of other emergencies that Fire Department’s respond to that are not fire related.
