K + P’s Shelter Island winter wedding was as dreamy and delicious as it looks. The ceremony was outdoors, gorgeous, and cozy at their family home. Their barn reception was magical. The view and experience stunned us all: long tabescapes, warm candlelight, beautiful horses, and live music- bonfire outside, oyster’s freshly served, speeches, so many lovely words and sentiments and two cakes. i love cake.

Everyone was over the moon, happy and in love, and I think it was extra special that it was during winter.

Having Diana and Oliver go for a kiss was different than when I use it as a prompt- with them, it was much more—- it’d be a full body embrace, then they would joke around after or it would turn into a dance set and giggle fest ♥️♥️♥️and I loved it

and— we love Dianas boots. 🔥

Can’t wait to blog their engagement session, especially that I just shot their wedding a week ago!

I blogged part 1 and part 2 of this wedding! 🫧♥️ doing this yesterday after so many years removed from this wedding day was a special type of time travel! It was truly incredible- I was reliving it alllllll for six hours (designing the 2 blogs and all the backend parts of publishing can take that long!)

Anyway, so many years away from this wedding I loved and then sitting down and designing these beautiful spreads and loving it had me think about how thrilled a wedding album would make my couples- not just the physical album, which is a beautiful — but the process of choosing the images for me to design the album

Especially, if it’s been a few years!
Like I said, it’s a special type of time travel.
