The cold front last week kept me in doors for most of it. This was taken the last time it was below freezing; beautiful but bitterly cold.

Lessons:
1. Color cast plays an important role in determining the mood of a scene/image. Perfect white balance isn’t always reflective of nature.

Natural lighting. UV filter only. 1 stop underexposed for the contrast.

I’ve been obsessed with natural landscapes lately. Here’s a local lake during the last storm before it broke.

Lessons:
1. Take scant age of conditions that normally you wouldn’t be out in.

Natural lighting. Variable ND filter was used for a lower aperture.

Funny enough, I had on the same color shirt as the park security so I looked like the staff. Since this was a surprise, I had to be a distance away and unnoticeable to the soon-to-be engaged couple and .jauregui.18

I hid behind a tree and captured these images a good distance away. I felt like a secret agent 😂 and it was pretty cool.
