Hot take —— Your business portrait should show people why they want to work with you.
A headshot will show people what you look like. That’s good sometimes… But a great business portrait shows them what matters to you.
We started with the standard portrait on white, then took things into the shop. That’s where he came alive and his story really came through.
We photographed this project manager in the environment he helped run to give his portraits context, personality, and a stronger connection to his role. Those were ultimately the portraits the company chose for the cover of their internal magazine!
Yes you need the image on white too… but don’t miss the opportunity to get the shot that says something too.
