Sometimes, and not very often, I get a little one in front of the lens that just refuses to close those eyes, as if to be in aww of the world so new. As the light of filtered sunlight so glowing, and the sweet shushing sounds, the rhythmic clicking of the camera. Stares with intent to figure it out. Well here he is, it happened 1 time through the whole session. Bless it!

as a side note his sister here with him, was the same at her own newborn session, gave me that intentional stare, trying to figure it out. would not close her eyes the whole time. I have to say she was the best little two yr old, speaking sign language, and two languages, She still has that same intentional stare. I cannot wait to see where these two go in this world! I have to give credit to their Momma as well, her love and passion to raise her littles to ask questions, and explore.

He's such a cutie! I could have snuggled with him all day!! He arrived earth-side just a little early at 34 weeks, but you would never know it! He was the perfect little man during his session~

she was so alert through her whole session, she would have her eyes closed and then I would take the shot and she would open her eyes with a perfect stare...

LUCY you have some explaining to do!!!! I cannot believe I have missed sharing some sessions with you all~! OMG!! I have been so caught up in getting things ready for my daughter Hannah's wedding I got a bit behind on my posts!
Update: wedding was beautiful!! and I cannot wait to share what my girl Sydney Duncan from Laurel & Oak Photography captured and created for her Bridals and the wedding!! Now I understand the "wanting to see" and wanting to have ALL of them!! I will be flooding the feed here with some sweet littles. I have a lot to think about in the next few months... Retire or continue this venture~ bring the photo session to you or find a studio.. ( the new house will not have a studio space for me)
