2026 couples- I hope you dance. I hope you are so soo present in your day. I hope you spend time with your people, laugh with your friends, drink the drinks, eat the food, feel every bit of meaning and intention I know you’re pouring into it right now.

Being able to have a day like that comes down to a killer vendor team. One who takes CARE of you. Builds a stress free timeline, handles the last minute things, does the extra little things without you having to remind them, lets you just ENJOY THE HECK out of your day 🫶🏼

Rob and Sarah’s wedding was just that. Present with their people. A team that 👏 showed up. And their reception felt the perfect blend of meaning, intention and summer concert 🪩

BIG NEWS: Apparently we like chaos. Baby #3 coming this year 💫

Feeling so grateful. Still capturing weddings this summer, still booking fall weddings 2026 + beyond, still have some really exiting things planned for this year 🪩

2025 was full. In the best way.

I photographed weddings, couples, growing families, seniors, and so many moments that I will carry with me. I coached photographers, launched a podcast, hosted styled@shoots, a vendor meet up lake day, and my biggest task was hosting a 3-night workshop (thnx for all your help!), and kept showing up in spaces that fuel me creatively and personally.

While this job doesn’t feel like work, I often remind have to myself that I do this to support my personal life. This year I took 5 weekends off between July-August (prime lake weekends 😎) After 2 years of waiting, we finally broke ground on building our future home. We took a few family trips and even a couple kidless trips! Worked late nights. Logged early mornings. Lived fully in the in-between.

Entrepreneurship + motherhood is hard. This is not news 😂 but just a weight worth mentioning. The hours don’t stop, but the flexibility to be there when it matters is something I’ll never take for granted. Someone asked me at a wedding if I got to go home and sleep the next day and recover- I laughed loudly at the ridiculousness of that thought with a 2 and 4 year old at home.

So grateful for every client, every opportunity, every lesson, and every moment that mattered this year 🤍 I look back and am at so much gratitude and peace with this year and I think that’s all we can really ask for.

2026 is already throwing us some curveballs. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned is it’s in those moments you grow the most.

Every now and then, a fellow wedding vendor asks me to capture their wedding day. It’s truly one of the BIGGEST honors. As vendors, we’re on the in. We see it all, we know everyone, we hear about everyone, we know what’s up.

When the flower queen herself, , got engaged and asked if I was available for her wedding- I couldn’t have been more excited. Leigh is someone who romanticizes life. Everything is special, everything is beautiful, everyone matters, every day is great- her energy is truly sunshine and while I smile a lot, she might smile even more than me 🤣💛 Getting to be around her, see her in her flower element (yes she even did all of her own flowers for her day), capture her with her Cody, and see her be surrounded by so much love was so so special.

HBD - forever grateful this industry brought us into orbit together 💫

This is why I love weddings like this. When the setting feels familiar, the timeline has breathing room, and the day is centered on connection with your people. Photographing this felt less like work and more like being invited into something really meaningful. These are the days I DREAM of 🪩

These are the days. The blur of newborn snuggles and toddler chaos. The coffee is never hot, the sleep is never enough, and the house somehow always looks like a tiny storm passed through.

But it’s also the season where the smallest moments hit the hardest. Little hands on your cheeks, giggles and the pitter patter of tiny feet echoing down the hallway, baby snuggles and a love you didn’t know you could have. The laundry is never done, there are dinosaurs in the bath tub but you know someday you’ll miss the tiny socks you find in the couch.

Home feels loud, messy, soft, and full… and you know one day you’ll miss exactly this. These are the days. They’re long but fast and hard but absolutely the ones you’ll want back 🤍

Morning moments from this past August. There’s something about the energy in their rooms leading up to a wedding day. The excitement, the anticipation, the little moments, the details. I’ll never get sick of documenting these mornings 🥹

“Honestly- if it’s stressful, we don’t need it. What’s going to happen is going to happen and I just want to enjoys the day with my people” She said this to me a couple months before her wedding day when I asked her how it was going and I loved her words so 👏 much 👏

If it’s stressful. You don’t NEED it.
Focus on the two of you.
Focus on your people.
Hire the vendors who are going to allow you to do that.

October Dump 🧡 Wrapped up my wedding season with my final 2 weddings 😭 Pumpkin patch, kid soccer, work outs. Took a trip to and a work trip to Arizona. And we got windows! An insane amount of family sessions (which is good bc I get to see so many people!!) October is always my month of accepting that summer is gone, now I’m ready to cozy up.

Hope your Halloween is SUPER! To my fellow toddler parents, who have weathered all 17 costume changes in the last two weeks. And today, none of those are the right ones: You’re doing great. Not all heroes wear capes 😘
