The pictures may make it look like I’m okay, but the truth is I’m fighting battles most people will never see.
My health has changed my life. My vision is fading, and some days I can’t even clearly see the person taking the picture. But I refuse to let that become the end of my story.
Music is my outlet. Creativity keeps me moving. Staying busy keeps me from sinking into the darkness of sitting at home and feeling defeated.
I’m not asking for sympathy. I’m asking for encouragement, prayers, strength, and positive energy.
I may be hurting. I may be struggling. I may be scared.
But I’m still creating. I’m still moving. I’m still fighting. And I am not stopping.
This chapter will not defeat me.
