Finally took a spin down to the newly redone Woodstock Bay in Superior (4 minutes from home), and it's a beautiful spot. Kayak launch, nice paved walkways, and some extra calm waters for sunsets on the viewing docks. 🙂

So, something I've never seen today: Summer lake fog, usually called advection fog.

Warm, humid air moves over Lake Superior’s much colder surface, gets cooled to its dew point, and condenses into a low fog bank... Like sea smoke's long lost summertime friend.

Even after 47 years, it turns out you can still be pleasantly surprised some days!
