chool for nursing but ended up changing my major to Studio Art and Photography. I realized it was my passion and I knew it was something I wanted to do for the long run. Some fun facts about me....

This session was giving Naley vibes! I absolutely love a couple that embraces the rain and still wants to keep shooting. We had the perfect weather and then all of a sudden the wind picked up and then came the rain. Bailey gave me her kid's Bluey umbrella to use to shoot under because the rain was coming down hard!

Isabella & Camden 7.18.26

This sweet couple had the most gorgeous wedding in Southport. It was simple, elegant, had a vintage vibe to it, which is perfect with as much as Bella loves to go antique shopping. Her dress was an absolute DREAM and the way these two looked at each other all day...swoon!!! 😍

Life has been LIFE-ING lately. 🤣🫠

Lots of sessions, lots of editing, family things going on, and now school starting back, I am tiiiiired.

Ready for life to slow down for a bit.

But I'm starting to get giddy because it's officially the 'BER months which means my favorite time of year! I'm ready to decorate for Halloween, bake cookies and treats, and do all the festivities!

I got to meet Jessica from Laurel Lane Photography by Jessica Lyons and her sweet little family while they were vacationing in Oak Island. I've been following her on Instagram for years and was so excited that she got me to her photos! We didn't get the golden hour that we wanted because of the rain coming in but I still love how these turned out!

Another gorgeous proposal! 💍

Lacey and Austin's happened the evening after the fire when that huge rain storm happened. Right when Lacey's mama and her friend had everything set up, it was like a monsoon. The crazy part...everything that was set up was still there when I checked after it cleared up. I just had to fix the petals a little and fix some of the glasses vases.

Austin led Lacey down the dock to where the set up was and proposed to her in the flower heart. I was hiding in the boat right beside the dock so that was fun! They popped some champagne, we did some photos and then they went to Oyster Rock where their family and friends were waiting for them.

It's been a summer full of proposals! 💍✨

This one happened the night of the fire. I arrived about an hour early and found the perfect spot where he wanted to propose. I told him I’d be the girl sitting there reading a book, wearing purple Vans, so he could walk right by me and propose nearby. Luckily, the plan worked perfectly! They walked right past me, and she had absolutely no idea what was about to happen.

As the evening went on, the smoke began rolling in, slowly filling the sky and surrounding us throughout their session. We could hardly see in front of us or see the ocean, but what stood out most was Eliza. No matter how much smoke was in the air, it never dimmed her light. Her smile was so bright and her excitement was contagious.

Sometimes the most unexpected circumstances make the sweetest memories, and this was definitely one of those nights. So thankful I got to be there to capture it all.
