Life update: I’m engaged to my best friend! Yesterday at Wallace Falls, I asked to marry me, and well… she said “Yes, but that’s the wrong hand.” I am so excited to have yet another milestone with this gorgeous woman, but even more so for the rest of our lives. I love you Heather!!!

I never thought I could find a women with so much heart and kindness that she could brighten my life everyday. 9 years of being with you has made life paradise. This is a cool island. There is a little bit of a scramble to get up and a bunch of trails on top. Just watch the tide if you don’t want to get wet.

The reason I like to explore is that moment you turn the corner where you don’t usually think to look and find a marvel. A window. A little slice of time that only you have and no one else. But at the same time why do I carry this black box with a computer and glass attached to it?
